Caxito — The Angolan minister of Geology, Mining and Industry, Joaquim David, is working Friday in Caxito city, Bengo province, where he was hopeful after being informed about the organisation and functioning of the sector here.
Minister Joaquim David met the provincial governor, João Bernardo de Miranda.
During his stay in the province, the government official met also workers of provincial management of geology, mining and industry in Bengo, heard from them the problems of the sector in the region.
At the end of the visit, minister Joaquim David said he is hopeful on resolving the problems the sector is facing, related to paying taxes and listing companies working on extracting and transforming of mines.
